A Marketplace kitchen allows you to breathe new life into your home with a variety of features and finishes
while remaining sensitive to cost and considerate of your household's needs and wishes.
Marketplace services include:

An in-home assessment with professional measurements

A 3D rendering of your newly designed space

Budget-friendly cabinetry options, on which Ellen can work her magic

Professional material selections (flooring, hardware, and more)

Referrals to experienced contractors
During your discovery call, we will:

Get an idea of your needs, your must haves, and your wish list.

Have an initial discussion regarding your budget and any restrictions or accommodations.
Then, you will:

Send us some "before" photos of your space.

Take some initial measurements and relay those to ELDS.
At the studio, we will:
-
Prepare a budget estimate.

Send you our proposal along with the retainer fee agreement and payment plan.
(When purchasing cabinetry through ELDS, a retainer fee will be applied to the cost of the cabinetry.) -
Schedule a full measure follow-up appointment in your home.

Kick off the design phase!
As we design your new space, we will:

Map out your space using floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings.

Customizing your cabinetry to maximize storage and curate a design aesthetic that reflects your taste and lifestyle.

Incorporate selections of countertops, backsplash, cabinet hardware, sinks, and faucets.

Create a lighting and electrical plan.
During construction, we will:

Schedule initial walk-throughs with your contractor and their tradespeople to maintain clear communication.

Provide a detailed binder complete with floor plan, elevations, installation notes, and a finish schedule.

Be on site for cabinetry delivery to ensure quality and see that any concerns are seamlessly resolved.
Need additional design services?
Looking for paint selections, counter stools, window treatments, or more? For an additional fee (determined based on scope), ELDS can provide you with these services to help you fully achieve the vision of your new space.
Project Management Services
If you would like us on site to act as the liaison between you and your contractor, just let us know! For an additional fee, we will be on site during the process to advocate on your behalf as needed.
The Process
Cabinetry & More
Our Marketplace collection is comprised of three cabinet lines: Fabuwood (including their new, modern, frameless line, Lumi), Legacy Crafted, and North American Cabinets (NAC) Café.
Countertops are available from a variety of sources, including the Cambria Signature series, the European Alleanza Collection, and other thoughtfully-priced selections perfectly suited to your design aesthetic.
For a Marketplace kitchen, we would recommend appliance brands such as Frigidaire, GE, and Whirlpool. For plumbing, we would source form brands like Elkay, Pfister, and Delta.
The White Glove Experience
For those wishing to be treated to an added level of care and service, ELDS is happy to offer our White Glove Experience, which includes:

Supervised construction cleanup.

Partnership with the Neat Method for more advanced organization.

Sourcing and procurement of everything you need fill your new kitchen, from cookware to tableware.

All the final details in place for a photoshoot-ready space.
