During your discovery call, we will:

• Get an idea of your needs, your must haves, and your wish list. 

• Have an initial discussion regarding your budget and any restrictions or accommodations. 

• Schedule a complimentary in-home visit.

In your home, we will:

• Get to know more about you, your family, your personal taste, and your lifestyle.

• Review your space to talk about your wants and needs.

• Assess the scope of the project.

• Share initial thoughts for how your space can be redefined.

• Take some preliminary measurements.

• Share insider knowledge regarding appliance options along with their features and benefits.

• Assess your technology needs and potential finishing touch opportunities. 

Back at the studio, we will:

• Prepare a budget estimate.

• Send you our proposal along with the retainer fee agreement and payment plan.
  (When purchasing cabinetry through ELDS, a retainer fee will be applied to the cost of the cabinetry.)

• Schedule a full measure follow-up appointment. 

• Kick off the design phase! 

As we design your new space, we will:

• Map out your space using floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings.

• Customizing your cabinetry to maximize storage and curate a design aesthetic that reflects your taste and lifestyle.

• Incorporate selections of countertops, backsplash, cabinet hardware, sinks, and faucets.

• Create a lighting and electrical plan.

Additional luxury features include: 

• Unique finishes such as bleached and acid-washed woods and metallic-painted finishes.

• The use of mirrors in strategically selected locations to reflect the view across or to ensure there is a 360-degree view of your outdoor space. 

• Metal trims used as accents to highlight the frame of a space.

• Backlit countertops. 

• Biophilic elements, such as living walls, to bring natural elements into your home.
   

We will also work with a technology integrator to ensure your home has all the latest technology available. Our passion for being informed and trained in all there is to offer our clients is what sets us apart. Our ability to implement this knowledge offers our clients a truly unique result. 

During construction, we will:

• Schedule initial walk-throughs with your contractor and their tradespeople to maintain clear communication.

• Provide a detailed binder complete with floor plan, elevations, installation notes, and a finish schedule.

• Be on site for cabinetry delivery to ensure quality and see that any concerns are seamlessly resolved. 

Need additional design services?

Looking for paint selections, counter stools, window treatments, or more? For an additional fee (determined based on scope), ELDS can provide you with these services to help you fully achieve the vision of your new space. 

Project Management:

If you would like us on site to act as the liaison between you and your contractor, just let us know! For an additional fee, we will be on site during the process to advocate on your behalf as needed. ​
